Upcoming events and virtual walk and wheel update

Come along and chat to us at our upcoming events, sign up to Dr Bike, and watch our virtual walk and wheel!

Thanks to everyone who came along to our events and shared their feedback on the website in January and February! Following on from these, we have some in-person events coming up. If you haven’t managed to share your feedback, or still have some questions you’d like to talk through, then we’d love to see you.

Drop-by stalls in March and April

The team will be hosting drop-by stalls on the green space at the corner of Glasgow Street and Montgomery Street in the coming weeks. Please come along to chat to us, share any feedback you may have, and ask your questions about the initial designs. We will also have paper surveys available, so if you haven’t managed to fill one in yet, then come by. The time and dates are as follows:

Friday 18th March, 11am to 3pm.

Monday 28th March, 12pm to 3pm.

Tuesday 12th April, 11am to 3pm.

Free bike maintenance check

In addition to the drop-by stall, on Tuesday 12th April , we will be having a Dr Bike session in the same location, where an experienced mechanic can give your bike a free check and make any minor adjustments needed. If there’s any further adjustments required, we will let you know exactly what needs to be done and give you a rough guide to the cost of this.

If you would like a free check up from Dr Bike, then please fill in the form by clicking here . You can drop-by without an appointment too, it just makes it a bit easier for us to prepare if you fill in the form.

Evening Event at the Frank Sweeney Centre for Enterprise on Wednesday 6th April

The team will be hosting an evening information session about the project, in partnership with the Ardrossan Community Development Trust, Cunningham Housing Association, and North Ayrshire Council.

This is an opportunity to come along and chat to the team and talk through the designs with us. This event will take place in the Frank Sweeney Centre for Enterprise, 82/84 Glasgow Street, between 6:30pm to 8:30pm so please come and drop by any time.

Paper surveys

If you aren’t able to attend any of our events and haven’t managed to share your feedback yet, you can also pick up paper feedback forms in MOKA, Ardrossan Library, or Whitlees Community Centre. There will also be a ballot box at these locations that you can pop your feedback in.

More virtual walk and wheels up now!

All of our virtual walk and wheels are now uploaded on to our website and you can find them by clicking here.

Why not have a watch, take some notes, and bring your feedback along to one of our drop-by sessions to chat through it with us? Alternatively, you can email your feedback to tara.coldwellbrock@sustrans.org.uk .

We’re really looking forward to seeing you at our events and hearing your feedback. If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact our Community Engagement Officer at tara.coldwellbrock@sustrans.org.uk .
